Tove Alexandersson had a late night inside the Globe during the sports gala. There were three prizes in the end, the female athlete of the year, the Swedish daily Dagbladet gold and the Radio Sport's Jerring Award. The only prize she missed where she was nominated was this year's team where the relay team from the Seefeld World Cup stood as the winner.

"I felt that the orienteers joined together"

Stina Nilsson, a quarter of this year's team, finished second in the Jerring Prize poll with 141 00 votes. After the gala had ended, she was interviewed by SVT Sports reporter.

- It was a nice gala and it was well deserved winners. I am happy to have come this far. I have felt that the orienteers have come together this year and voted for Tove and she is really well deserved for this victory, Nilsson said.

Tove Alexandersson became the superior winner with her 207,000 votes, but did not agree with the long-distance star when she spoke to SVT Sport after her fantastic evening.

- I feel a great support from the orientation but I also feel a great support from others, there are so many more than the orienteers who voted for me, Alexandersson states.
