"I'm not ready, but I'm going. Dude, I'm sitting there trying to write something but every time I try I start crying just thinking of you, your daughter Gigi and the friendship, bond, brotherhood that united us! James wrote on his Instagram account on Monday.

"I literally heard your voice on Sunday morning before I left Philly to go back to LA (Los Angeles). I didn't think for a moment in a million years that this would be the last conversation we would have, ”he continues.

Saturday night, despite the Lakers 'defeat at Bryant's birthplace in Philadelphia, James doubled his glorious senior to 3rd place in the NBA best scorers' record. The latter, who congratulated him the same evening on Twitter, therefore also did so verbally on the phone Sunday morning, shortly before the accident which was fatal to him.

" I love you big brother. My heart goes to Vanessa and the children. I promise I will carry on your legacy! You are so important to all of us here, especially the "LakerNation". Please give me strength and watch over me in paradise! There are so many other things I want to tell you, but I can't now because I need time! Until we meet my brother !! ”, concluded LBJ.

James' public reaction was expected. His tears of sadness, filmed surreptitiously upon his arrival at the Los Angeles airport on Sunday afternoon, had however gone around the world.
