Near the Staples Center in Los Angeles, thousands of people gathered to honor Kobe Bryant. Images of the former Lakers star appeared on all screens near the arena. Currently, the Staples Center is hosting the Grammy Awards.

Kobe Bryant spent 20 seasons playing for the Lakers and became the five-time NBA champion. On January 26, an ex-basketball player and his 13-year-old daughter crashed as a result of a helicopter crash.
Jordan had previously stated that Bryant was like a younger brother to him.
