The rehearsal of a performance performed by Japanese children was held at the torch ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics in Greece in March.

The torch takeover ceremony is one of the ceremonies in which the torch of the Tokyo Olympics is transferred from Greece, the birthplace of the Olympics, to be held on March 19 in the capital city of Athens.

A rehearsal was held in Chiba City on the 26th, with a performance centered on 140 primary and secondary students and high school students in Japan.

The performance is a three-part 10-minute program that combines Japanese myths and Kagura with street dance, and HIRO of "EXILE" will direct the production.

At the venue, children wearing red and orange costumes, which resembled a flame, danced with the flag waving while music was watched by officials such as Yoshiro Mori, chairman of the Games Organizing Committee.

"I saw the production for the first time, but I was relieved. I think Greek people and gods will surely be pleased," said Mori with a smile.

Mr. HIRO said, "The performance is so good that the power of the children will lead to the future. I'm looking forward to it being further brushed up."
