A retired basketball legend, Kobe Bryant, died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on Sunday, TMZ reported.

The report added that Kobe, 41, was traveling with at least three other people on his private helicopter when it crashed.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff said on Twitter that five people were killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas and there were no survivors.

Bryant has participated in the NBA for 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers, and was among only seven players to score more than 30,000 points during their career.
