According to the acting president of the VFLA, Yulia Tarasenko, who reports to TASS, the organization sent an answer to the AIU within the agreed time frame, which is confirmed by the receiving party.

According to media reports, VFLA did not provide an official response to the allegations against the previous leadership on time, in this regard, World Athletics cannot yet resume issuing permits for participation in competitions for Russian athletes.

On November 2, it became known that World Athletics suspended the process of restoring VFLA, as well as issuing permits for athletes to play in neutral status. This is due to the investigation of the high jumper Danil Lysenko, in which the leadership of the VFLA, in particular the resigned Dmitry Shlyakhtin, is involved.

Earlier it was reported that Maria Lasitskene commented with concern about her inclusion in the RUSADA extended testing pool.
