Russia's systematic doping issue has led the WADA to temporarily suspend the Moscow laboratory where the cover-up operation was carried out.
WADA lifted its sanctions against Russia in 2018, including on providing all data on athletes kept at Moscow's lab where concealment was performed due to Russian organized doping issues .
However, WADA has announced that Moscow's laboratories have again been provisionally suspended on 22nd due to at least several hundred replacements or erasures in the data provided by the Russian side. .
WADA has already banned Russia from participating in international competitions including the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics for four years, and has decided that only players who meet the strict requirements can participate in the Tokyo Games with individual qualifications. .
On the other hand, the Russian side has dissatisfied with this and is currently proceeding with arbitration at the CAS = Sports Arbitration Court.
