Income disparities are troubling in many places, but SDE goalkeeper Reideborn thinks the women's hockey players are getting the salary they deserve.

- I think the pay gap is reasonable. If you see how it is at the matches then there is absolutely no audience and it is difficult to attract sponsors. Linköping recently tried an event where they would set audience records. Then 3,600 tickets were picked up, and by the next match 60 of them were back, she says.

- Hockey is a hobby for us, and no one else will pay for a hobby. We cannot demand the wages of the gentlemen, and we cannot force people to go and check. Just realize, we have a product that nobody wants to see and we play in the B-World Cup.

Reideborn believes that what is needed to make women's hockey more attractive is to get better Swedish players.

- I think little girls have to change their focus, they have to play hockey more like guys do.
