Álvaro Odriozola is already a new Bayern Munich player after the German club's agreement with Real Madrid for a transfer until June 30, with no purchase option, as both clubs made official on Wednesday. "Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have agreed to the transfer of the player Álvaro Odriozola for this season, until June 30, 2020," reports the Madrid team in a statement released on its website.

Odriozola did not have minutes since the return of Zinedine Zidane to Real Madrid and his contribution to Real Madrid had been reduced compared to the last year he played 22 games.

In this campaign he only participated in five games (four of LaLiga Santander and one of the Champions League), all of them starting, but the continuity enjoyed by Dani Carvajal caused that in the League he did not play a minute since last 19 October. He was not cited by Zidane in 17 games in a situation that ended up tiring the Basque right back.

Real Madrid signed Odriozola after breaking out with Real Sociedad for 35 million euros in the summer of 2018 and his desire for continuity causes his departure in the form of assignment until June 30.

Odriozola did not train with Real Madrid on Tuesday and moved to Munich where he underwent a medical examination to close the last step of an agreement that the two clubs have made official.
