Since 2016, national team-backed Jonas Junland has played in Switzerland with the club Lausanne HC. Some time ago he broke the contract with the NLA club and now it is clear he is returning to Linköping with a contract until 2024.

- I am very excited and happy to come home to Linköping and get to play in LHC again. Getting in and playing in Saab Arena is something that I look forward to very much, as LHC and the fans in this town mean a lot to me. It will be fucking fun to be part of this team and I look forward to the challenge that lies ahead of us, ”says Jonas Junland to the club's website.

Tough season

An important puzzle piece for Linköping, which is twelve in SHL. Yesterday, LHC won the derby against HV71, but before that the team had ten straight losses.

- It's great that Jonas is coming back to LHC. It is a really good player, he grew up in town, has LHC as a parent club and knows a lot for the whole association. It will be really fun to see him play in the LHC jersey again at the end of this week, says Niklas Persson, General Manager of LHC.

Jonas Junland is currently in Switzerland and is scheduled to be ready for play on Saturday when Linköping meets Färjestad at home.
