It is China, Australia, Taiwan and Thailand that will settle for places for the women's Olympic football tournament in Tokyo this summer. The tournament will be played as decided between February 3 and February 9, but will be moved from Wuhan in the Hubei region to the eastern city of Nanjing.

The Olympic qualifiers for boxers from Asia and Oceania would also be implemented in Wuhan in early February. The International Olympic Committee, which organizes the boxing in the Olympics and then the qualifiers, will decide on the qualifiers on Thursday, says the site Insidethegames.

The Japanese news agency Kyodo, Reuters writes, has been informed that it has already been decided to relocate the event.

So far, 440 people have become ill and nine people have died in the suites of the ulcer-like corona virus that was discovered in Wuhan.
