The first reinforcement of Valencia CF in this winter market comes in the offices. The club has announced the incorporation of former goalkeeper César Sánchez as "football director" until June 2022.

Sánchez (Coria, 1971), after his retirement, completed his studies in Economics, obtained the UEFA Pro coach license and completed the university degree of Sports Director of the Spanish Federation (RFEF).

Miguel Ángel Corona arrives next to the former goalkeeper, as head of the scouting area, and will be supported by Jorge López , who remains in the structure of the technical secretariat.

César Sánchez re-signs for Valencia in a winter market, such as when January 2009 arrived to occupy the goal. Since then he played 78 games until 2011, when he went to Villarreal for a season in which he only played four games. In addition to spending his time in training, he has been LaLiga's ambassador with other former players and commentator in different media.
