Alexander Nylander scored his sixth goal of the season when he opened the scoring in Chicago's win against Winnipeg (5-2) at home. The Swede received the puck in front of the goalkeeper, played by Erik Gustafsson, and made a sideline pass past the goalkeeper, and put the puck in net.

A while later, there were switched roles when Nylander acted forwards to Gustafsson, who put 2-0.

1,000th point by Kane

Robin Lehner fired 36 shots between Chicago's posts. He saw teammate Patrick Kane score his 1,000th point.
It was Brandom Saads 4-1 in the third period, and an assist by Kane, who completed the milestone.

- It was pretty cool. I felt a little sorry for him (Saad). All the guys went to me while he was standing there alone in the corner, even though it was he who scored, Kane said, laughing after the game, according to TT.
