Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero escaped a serious traffic accident and got out safely from his badly damaged car.

Manchester United confirmed that the goalkeeper had an accident near the team's training center in the Carrington area, and made it clear that Romero was unhurt.

Social media images showed a Lamborghini Romero, an estimated value of 200,000 euros, after crashing into roadblocks and trees.

Romero, 32, is considered the reserve keeper of Manchester United, with Spanish goalkeeper Romelio Lukaku taking control of the key position.
