Bolshunov won the 15 km race as part of the KM stage in Novo Mesto

Bolshunov covered the distance in 33:45. The second was the representative of Finland, Iivo Niskanen. The third place is held by Shur Röthe, ahead of the Russian Andrei Melnichenko in the fight for bronze.

Bolshunov leads the overall World Cup standings, ahead of Johannes Klebo and compatriot Sergei Ustyugov. The last two skiers miss the stage in Novo Mesto.

It was previously reported that Nepryaeva finished second in the 10 km race at the KM stage in Novo-Mesto.
