The classic Umeå team Björklöven, who took the SM gold in 1987, continues to impress in the hockeyall Swan.

Tonight, the team won their ninth straight game, defeating the Timrå series team by a full 7-2.

- The whole team makes a great match for 58 minutes, except for the last two in the first where we invite them to a small neighbor, says forward Sebastian Selin to C More.

Three quick goals

Timrå scored two quick goals at the end of the first period that Selin talked about, which meant that Timrå - despite the team being extensively pressured for most of that period - had 2-2 to the period rest.

Even after the second period, Timrå was included in the protocol (Björklöven led by 3–2), but in terms of play it was Björklöven for the whole slant.

And in the final period, it became Björklöven for the whole slant even in the target protocol. The team scored three goals in just over two minutes, and eventually won by a full 7-2.

- We managed to push ourselves a few snaps, then it ran away, says team captain Fredric Andersson.

"Good hockey game"

Coach Joakim Fagervall was also pleased.

- I think it's a pretty good hockey game. In their eagerness to hunt we get some goals, but overall it's a good match, he says.

With 14 innings left to play, Björklöven leads the series with eight points ahead of the second Modo. Timrå remains in third place, eleven points after Modo.
