Swiss Lara Stalder tops both goal scoring (20 goals) and scoring points (58 points) by far after his first 30 matches in the Brynäs jersey.

Even tonight she got off to a good start when Brynäs met Leksand. It was she who, after 39 playing seconds of the second period, played nicely forward Katerina Mrazova who scored the first goal of the match.

Hooked by Leksand players

But just over four minutes later, the accident was over. She was hooked by a Leksand player, and then got a tackle so that she lost balance and landed between two Leksand players with - as it looked on the TV pictures - with all the weight on her left leg.

She was then lying on the ice and writhing in torment. She could then, with the help of teammates and leaders, get out of the ice, jumping on one leg.

Also last year Stalder was injured. Her season ended after 13 games, due to a shoulder injury.
