It is new milestones most all the time for Ovetjkin who scored the season's 31st goal. It is the 15th season in a row from the debut that Ovetjkin is scoring at least 30 goals in one season, which is the NHL record for a career start.

Ovetkin tended Mike Gartner's suite to score at least 30 goals in his first 15 NHL seasons, which was achieved in 1979-1994.

"I never grow old, but without my team and my teammates I would never reach these milestones and these figures," says Ovetjkin, according to the NHL, who is delighted with the success that is just continuing.

- Obviously, it's a team effort. It's really cool, it's not something I care about.

Radar partner Nicklas Bäckström played until two of the goals.
