Uruguayan midfielder Real Madrid Federico Valverde, who was excluded during the Spanish Super Cup final, received a suspension match that will make him miss the Liga match on Saturday against Seville.
Valverde had received a red card for mowing Alvaro Morata leaving alone on goal in the 115th minute of the final against Atlético Madrid. The sacrifice of the Uruguayan, elected man of the match, allowed Real to keep the score at 0-0 and win on penalties.

He will serve his sanction Saturday, when Real, 2nd in the Spanish Championship tied with leader Barcelona, receives Sevilla, 4th at 5 points, at the Santiago-Bernabéu stadium on behalf of the 20th day of Liga.
