His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, yesterday issued Resolution No. (2) for the year 2020, to form a board of directors for the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, headed by Ahmed Saeed bin Mashar, and the membership of each of Saif Juma Al Suwaidi, Vice-President, Ibrahim Sultan Al-Haddad, Rashid Thani Al-Ayel, Jamal Zaal Bin Krishan, Issa Muhammad Al-Haj Nasser, and Khaled Ali Al-Balushi.

This decision is effective from the date of the implementation of Decree No. (34) for the year 2019 regarding the inclusion of the “Victorian Corporation” in the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, and published in the Official Gazette.

Dubai International Club will complete with the start of the new year, the marine racing program in the sports season 2019-2020, with the establishment of many diverse marine sporting events in heritage and modern marine sports. The end of this month will witness the club hosting the first rounds of the Emirates International Water Championship, which will be held under the umbrella of the International Marine Racing Federation (UIM), and under the supervision of the Emirates Marine Sports Federation this 25th. This tournament is preceded by the establishment of the first round of the Dubai Fishing Championship, which will be held from 15-18 this month. This is in addition to the many local and international tournaments organized by the club.

The new council is chaired by Ahmed Saeed bin Mashar, with membership: Saif Al-Suwaidi as vice-president, Ibrahim Al-Haddad, Rashid Thani Al-Ayel, Jamal Zaal bin Krishan, Issa Nasser and Khalid Al-Balushi.
