Linn Svahn, 20, started the sprint weekend by winning his second individual sprint competition before Annamarija Lampic and Maja Dahlqvist. Svahn followed it up by winning her second sprint relay together with Maja Dahlqvist.

- The Swedish ladies continue to dominate the sprint scene even though Stina Nilsson and Jonna Sundling were not present, says Mathias Fredriksson.

Fredriksson is particularly impressed with Svahn's breakthrough.

- Absolutely incomparable. She has had an incredibly good career, and better than that, it cannot be, he says.

"Very pleasing"

The Swedish gentlemen also delivered. Johan Häggström finished third in yesterday's sprint, which was his first podium place in the World Cup. It was also Sweden's first podium place on the men's side in the World Cup since November 2018. Häggström followed up the success, together with Marcus Grate, finishing second in the sprint relay behind France.

- Very pleased that the Swedish men are finally back on the podium in the World Cup and that Johan Häggström followed up second place yesterday, says SVT Sports expert Mathias Fredriksson.
