Coach Schaefer confirmed in a press statement, published by the German newspaper "Sueddeutsche", that he does not consider at all to stop the activity and end his training career, despite reaching the age of 70 years. He said he hoped to continue working with his current team, Baniyas, who trained him at the beginning of the current season, coming from the Independence Team of Tehran.
"I still feel relaxed and enjoy an incredibly youthful spirit," said Schaefer. "I am surprised that I am this age now. Currently I am coaching Baniyas and I work with young players to create a good team in the future, such as the work I did with the German Karlsruhe team. "For me, I want to stay in the coaching profession."
