In the Austrian Hochfilzen before Christmas, the Swedish relay team was properly sailed in a tenth place over three minutes after Norway. Neither Linn Persson, Elvira Öberg, Mona Brorsson nor Hanna Öberg had any further day.
The worst job, perhaps, was 20-year-old Elvira Öberg who received two penalties on her second leg.
But she gets the chance tomorrow, too, despite relay specialist Anna Magnusson being back in the World Cup. The national team management chooses exactly the same team as last.
- If you look at the whole season it is not a snack. Good that they give her confidence, says SVT Sports expert Björn Ferry.
This time Öberg will take care of the first stretch.
- Good to have experience of driving different distances so you don't lock up. Linn has run the first race during the season, but good that Elvira gets to test it, Ferry thinks.
The women's relay will be broadcast in SVT1 on Saturday at 12 noon.
