Luleå took the fifth straight victory in the SDHL when Modo fought back 4-1.

Guest Luleå took the lead through Emma Nordin who stayed on the return and could easily bump into the puck.

Teammate Michelle Karvinen did not want to be worse and was the safety herself in the beginning of the second period. After just 27 seconds, she shot 2-0.

Well organized, disciplined and effective

Luleå, third in the table before tonight's game, played at a completely different level than the resistance - well-organized, disciplined and effective.

Örnsköldsviklaget had some good playing sequences in the middle of the second act but Sara Grahn was brilliant and kept zero.

One of Modo's problems this season has been the sharpness - or lack thereof. Early in the end period it was time again. 27-year-old Nicoline Jensen increased to 3-0 on the pass of Finnish world back Ronja Savolainen. Karvinen scored his second goal with two minutes left in the already decided match.

But at least Modo was given a consolation goal to the great Grahn's dismay. An occasional hopeless Modo had little to gain from a Luleå who was playing just masterfully.
