Zlatan's statue, which is located outside Malmö FF's home arena in Malmö, has been vandalized several times.
And now it has happened again.
Sometime during the night towards Sunday, the statue has been cut off at its feet and is now overturned against the fence that would protect it. On the head is a black sweater with the text "Sweden" in yellow color.

Put in guards

Immediately after the news came about Zlatan Ibrahimovic joining Hammarby, someone hung a toilet seat over the statue's outstretched arm.

Racist slogans and death threats have since been written on the ground below, and in mid-December someone saw the statue's legs. In response, the police have erected a makeshift fence around the football player and the municipality has set guards. Despite this, the statue had its nose cut just before Christmas.
