Express meeting and bitter fans… How the TFC turned the page Kombouaré

• The replacement of TFC coach Antoine Kombouaré by Denis Zanko, already present at the club, was announced this Sunday morning at the Toulouse Stadium.

The news was made official by a concise press release published at 10.40 a.m., where we also learn that Sadran, very rare in the media, will give a press conference on Monday at 6.30 p.m. The humiliating failure a few hours earlier on the bumpy lawn of Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Hilaire, National 2 club (1-0), will therefore have been fatal to the New Caledonian.

Two successes and eleven setbacks for Kombouaré

The 56-year-old technician, arrived in mid-October via a two-season contract in place of Alain Casanova, will therefore leave Toulouse with a nice check but also a cataclysmic record of two successes for eleven losses. This Sunday, once Sadran is gone, the 50-year-old, who has already trained in Ligue 2 in Valence, Le Mans and then Laval, spoke at length with Rudy Riou, the goalkeepers' coach. Then he isolated himself on his laptop while the players silently left Ramier Island in small groups (and with a rugby ball under his arm for Baptiste Reynet, porter passionate about the things of ovalism).

Twenty-five of them had to leave a few hours earlier for an internship in Peralada, in Spanish Catalonia, where they will stay until Wednesday afternoon to prepare for the important reception of Brest on Saturday. This studious getaway was scheduled before the ouster of Kombouaré.
