The important and main committees of the Football Association have witnessed numerous changes in one electoral cycle, which has reached 25 times in total, since Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita took over the presidency of the former Football Association, in April of 2016, and until today after his resignation, and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairing the transitional committee that manages the affairs of the Union, until elections are held for the next session.

While the changes affected all the important committees, the Finance Committee remained an exception, as its Chairman Hisham Al-Zarouni did not change until today. These committees play important roles in the movement and activity of the federation, especially the committees of national teams and technical affairs, referees, competitions and the positions of the players, and they are the most prominent and most important in relation to the progress of football activity for clubs and teams.
