After a period of speculation, Dejan Kulusevski has now undergone the compulsory medical examination in Turin to make the spectacular transition to Juventus.

- Very funny! One of the biggest Swedish transitions in a long time. He is only 19 and he is recruited by Juventus one of the world's biggest clubs. He comes to Italy's most professional club, SVT's Italy expert Jennifer Wegerup tells SVT Sport.

"He has to spread his elbows"

Jennifer Wegerup believes that there is no special inviting environment that the Swedish 19-year-old steps into.

- It's going to be tough. He must step in and take a seat and not be afraid. Juventus is a very professional club but it is also a bit chilly. He must understand where he has come and that no one will go and "date" with him. He has to spread his elbows and just step in. If no one passes the ball to him, he must take it himself, says Wegerup.

Takes the same route as Zlatan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is another Swedish who recently signed up for an Italian club. Juventus was Ibrahimovic's first club in Italy and according to Wegerup it was the mental toughness that led to the club's success.

- Zlatan did so well in a star-studded Juventus that 21-year-old was because he dared to take a seat in the dressing room. It is a huge step for Kulusevski. Psychologically, one wonders, does he have what it takes? I argue that the psychic will be at least as important as the technical for Dejan, Wegerup tells SVT Sport.

For a long time it looked like Dejan Kulusevski would end up in Inter and according to several unanimous Italian media, it was also the black-blue from Milan who sat in the driver's seat to secure Kulusevski's services, until the day before yesterday. Then Juventus stepped in with a much bigger offer and after Kulusevski talked to Maurizio Sarri about his place in the game, the 19-year-old also chose to sign for "La Vecchia Signora".

- It's interesting. They show that Italy's top clubs right now wanted him and that says a lot. Again, Juventus has drawn the longest straw and I am not surprised that he ended up in Juventus.
