First it was Hanna Öberg who suffered from a cold which meant that the world champion had to cancel the world cup competitions in French Annecy.

- She has been able to train quite well since then. Hanna Öberg is on a good level and today she trained a tough interval workout, says Johannes Lukas to SVT Sport.

After Hanna Öberg, Jesper Nelin, Torstein Stenersen, Peppe Femling, Elvira Öberg, Emma Nilsson and Linn Persson became ill.

On the way back

Now head coach Johannes Lukas says that all riders are back in training.

Worst it was for Jesper Nelin and Peppe Femling who have been away from training until today. Sebastian Samuelsson has been training for three days.

- We have lost a lot of time and training. It's not exactly perfect, but we've made the best of the situation, ”says Johannes Lukas.

Affects the World Cup

The next World Cup competition is on January 9 in Oberhof and everyone who has been sick during the Christmas holidays is then expected to be back on the starting line.

- For Oberhof, this was not perfect. For example, Jesper Nelin can only run for three days. The guys were sick for a long time and have lost many hard passes.

This period was supposed to be a training period before the World Cup in Antholz.

- We have lost a lot of basic training before the World Cup. We'll see if they can run all competitions before the World Cup, or if anyone needs to stand over. We need to get training back for the World Cup and this really wasn't perfect, says Johannes Lukas and continues:

- We planned and had a good idea for the season. Now we need a new plan.
