Tennis Nishikori to miss Australian Open, opening next month December 30, 11:30
Kei Nishikori of tennis has revealed that he will miss the Australian Open in the first season of the four major tournaments to open next month.
This was revealed by Nishikori in his official app.
According to that, Nishikori had a painful right elbow surgery in October and had continued to rehabilitate in October, but "is not 100% ready to play at a sufficient level." Will miss the Australian Open, which will kick off in Australia next month.
Nishikori commented, "The Australian Open is one of my favorite tournaments, and I came to this decision after careful consideration. I want to work with my team to get back to the court as soon as possible."
