The Emirates Professional League has announced the dates of the matches of the second round of the Arab Gulf League, which will start in the 14th round on 28 and 29 January 2020.
The association said that the appointments came after a coordination meeting with the National Team and Technical Affairs Committee of the Emirates Football Association, headed by Abdul Hamid Al-Mestaki, member of the Association's Board of Directors, head of the Technical Committee, and attended by Ali Hamad, member of the Provisional Committee for the Football Association, member of the National Team Committee, and Ibrahim Al-Nimr, Assistant Secretary-General for Affairs The Technical Federation of the Football Association, during which the proposal of the National Team Committee regarding the calendar of the second round of the League's competitions was discussed at the request of the coach of the first team.
The Association also held a coordination meeting with the channels that own television rights, in which the Association presented the dates of the matches of the competitions it organizes.
In light of this, the fixtures were approved as follows:
Arab Gulf Cup:
The Gulf Arab Cup semi-final will be held on January 10, 2020 at the request of the National Teams Committee.
Arab Gulf League:
The second round of the Arab Gulf League championship will start in round 14 on January 28 and 29 January 2020, followed by round 15 on February 1 and 2, then round 16 on the sixth and seventh of the same month, and the league will stop after that due to the association of clubs in the AFC Champions League and then the Presidential Cup quarter-finals , And the league will resume with the holding of round 17 on February 27 and 28, 2020.
Round 18 will be held on 6 and 7 March, then round 19 on 13 and 14 of the same month, then the league will stop again due to FIFA days and the two matches of our first national team with Malaysia and Indonesia, then the third round of the AFC Champions League.
The Dorina wheel will return to rotation on the tenth and eleventh of April 2020 with the establishment of Round 20, followed by Round 21 on 16 and 17 of the same month, then Round 22 days 23, 24 and 25 April, and Round 23 on April 30 and 1 and 2 May 2020.
The matches of the Arab Gulf League continue to hold the round 24 days 7, 8 and 9 May 2020, then round 25 will be held on May 14, and the competition will be concluded with the establishment of the last and final round of 26 of our league on May 28, 2020.
It is possible to make adjustments to the dates of the penultimate and final rounds, depending on the position of the clubs in the AFC Champions League.
