The Norwegian Magnus Carlsen , world champion in classical chess, revalidated his title in the fast games modality in Moscow on Saturday and India's Humpy Koneru first registered his name in the history of the championship.

With eight wins and seven boards, Carlsen won his third fast chess crown undefeated with a point of advantage over the new world chess jewel, the 16-year-old Iranian Alireza Firouzja , who competed under the flag of the International Federation (FIDE) after to have denied the Iranian federation.
