Despite being free from the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games, the year 2019 witnessed a very crowded agenda for the big tournaments to be a special year for sports competitions in various games.

- The FIFA World Cup: The Brazilian soccer team took advantage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup on home soil, tightened its grip on the championship cup and regained the title missing since 2003 by defeating Mexico 2-1 in an exciting final.

World Cup: The World Athletics Championships knocked the door on to a new host and to a new region to host the World Athletics Championships, where Qatar hosted the tournament from September 27 to October 6 last.

On the other hand, the Spanish team snatched the title under the leadership of its famous player Ricky Rubio after defeating the Argentine counterpart in the final.

- The World Cup: After six months of winning the Champions League for the sixth time in its history, Liverpool was on a date with a new challenge in the world of the witch, as he fought the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar during the past days in search of his first title in the tournament.

Indeed, Liverpool maintained the European continent for the seventh year in a row after beating Flamingo with a clean goal in the final match of the tournament at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.

And the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah won the title of best player in the championship after he contributed greatly to the victory of the English team in the World Cup.

Continental championships:
- Asian Cup: Contrary to most expectations that preceded the AFC Asian Cup 2019 in the UAE, the teams that won to win the title in various roles of the tournament continued, while the Qatari (Al Annabi) team won the continental title for the first time in its history after defeating its Japanese counterpart in the match Final 3-1.

The Qatari striker Al-Moez Ali became the most player shaking the net in one copy throughout the history of the tournament, as he scored nine goals, outperforming the previous record holder, the Iranian Ali Daei, who scored eight goals in the 1996 edition, and Al-Moez Ali became one of the leading scorers in the history of Championship.

On the other hand, the Algerian team, led by its star and captain Riad Mahrez, won the championship of Manchester City by defeating Senegal with a clean goal, achieving the title only for the second time in its history, the first since it won the title at home in 1990.

Algerian player Ismail bin Nasser won the title of best player in this edition, and his teammate, Wahhab Rais Maboulahi, won the title of best goalkeeper in the tournament, while Nigerian Odeon Igalo top scorer in this version with five goals.

South American Nations Cup (Copa America): Although he lacked the efforts of Neymar, the Paris St Germain striker, his most prominent player due to the injury before the start of the tournament, the Brazilian team regained its continental title and crowned the champion of the South American Cup (Cuba America) hosted by his country in the middle of this year.

And the title became the ninth for the Brazilian samba in the history of his participation in the tournament, the first for him in 12 years, and "Seleção" won the title after defeating Peru 3-1 in the final.

On his way to the final, Brazil defeated the Argentine team in the golden box with two goals without reply, despite the presence of the star Lionel Messi, captain of the "Tango" team.

Messi's shock was not limited to his new failure in his career with the Argentine national team, but rather extended to his suspension due to his criticism of the referees and his accusations of officials of the Football Association of South America (Conmipol).

CONCACAF (North America, Central America and the Caribbean) Cup of Nations: The Mexican national team won the title in this edition of the tournament hosted by 16 cities distributed between the United States, Costa Rica and Jamaica after beating its American counterpart in the final.

Regional championships:
