Manchester United coach Olli Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that French midfielder Paul Pogba will not leave in the next winter transfer window in January.

Solskjaer said in remarks during the press conference about his team's match against Watford in the 17th stage of the English Football League, that Pogba will play with the team in 2020.

News and press reports had linked Pogba to leaving the team after his absence two and a half months from the team due to an ankle injury.

"He will not be sold next month, he is training for a long time but not with the team," Solskjaer added. "He started training and this is a step forward for us."

Manchester United are sixth with 25 points in the Premier League standings.
