Johansson is credited with nine A-matches, Champions League games and was the team captain in Eskilstuna during the last season.

She now returns to Linköping, which she represented between 2006 and 2014.

- It feels very fun and inspiring to be back. Linköping has been my hometown for the last 14 years, so I really feel at home here. LFC is building something good, just like me, they have high ambitions, she says to the team's website.

The contract extends over one year.

Another Swedish team that is preparing for next season is Växjö. They have acquired Danish right-back Emilie Henriksen, 22, from Bröndby. Henriksen, who has made two A-country matches, has signed a two-year contract.

- I wanted to go to a Swedish club because the Swedish league is much smoother than the Danish league. There should be more tough matches here than in Denmark where Bröndby and Fortuna Hjörring are very dominant, she tells Smålandsposten.
