According to RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of Kazan, the contract with Slutsky is designed for five years.

In recent years, Slutsky worked abroad, heading the English Hull City, and then the Dutch Vitess, from which he resigned at the end of November. In Russia, he worked in Uralan, Dynamo, Moscow, Wings of the Soviets, CSKA, as well as with the national team.
