American celebrity site TMZ confronted Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the streets of Los Angeles on Thursday night when the star was heading into a car.

The reporter asked the question: "What do you have to say to the people who continue to vandalize your statue in Sweden?"

Ibrahimovic did not want to feel any vandalism and only replied briefly that he had not seen it and then quickly got in the car and left the place.

Nannskog wants to remove it

The vandalism against the 38-year-old statue outside the Stadium in Malmö has been going on ever since he joined as a partner in Hammarby a few weeks ago. As late as last week, someone had cut one leg of the statue.

- It will be a serial if it remains. Had I been Zlatan, I would have taken it away. This just feels unworthy to all parties, that it remains and is being vandalized in this way. As I said, had I been Zlatan then I would have just said, "Remove it from here," SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog said.
