Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak (Atlético de Madrid), coach José Bordalás (Getafe) and Galician striker Iago Aspas (Celta de Vigo) on Monday received the Football Brand Awards for last season at a gala held in Madrid at the Sergio Ramos and Leo Messi couldn't go.
The Argentine striker of Barcelona, Leo Messi, two days after the classic against Real Madrid, was not at the gala to receive the prizes to the Top First Goalscorer and the Best Player of the championship last season. "I hope to keep getting things and keep growing. I am very proud of this award for what it means, so I am happy to receive it for another year ," Messi, the only player with six Pichichi trophies along with Telmo Zarra, said in a video.
Real Madrid central Sergio Ramos, who received an award as Best Player of the Spanish national team, was also unable to attend the gala for the same reason as Messi.
"It has been a very special year for the national team, now we hope to play a good role in the European Championship and for all of us to enjoy ," Ramos said in a video.

The least-goalkeeper last season, Slovenian Jan Oblak, who conceded 27 goals in 37 games, received his fourth consecutive Zamora Trophy. "I dedicate it to my teammates and my club, because without them it would not be possible," Oblak said. The Celta de Vigo Iago Aspas striker was also awarded First Division, as top Spanish scorer last season; José Bordalás, Getafe coach, as best coach; and Carlos del Cerro Grande, as best referee.
The winners of the SmartBank League were Álvaro Giménez (Almería) with Pichichi and Zarra; Rui Silva (Granada) as goalkeeper less thrashed with Zamora; Diego Martínez (Granada) as best coach; and Víctor Areces Franco with the Guruceta for the best referee.
Likewise, during the event, the Puerta-Jarque Trophy for Clean Play was handed over to the Alevín team of Málaga ; of the special Zamoras Awards to Jorge D'Alessandro and Raimundo Pérez Lezama; from LaLiga Fantasy MARCA, to José Félix Vázquez Leal and the Golden Goal Award to Iñaki Williams , striker of the Athletic Club of Bilbao.
