Anna Swenn Larsson's fine season introduction was followed up today with a second place in the parallel slalom in St. Petersburg. Moritz, which was a touch of her best place in a World Cup competition. In the final she fell by two hundredths against Slovakian Petra Vlhova - who took her tenth World Cup victory.
Petra Vlhova has been in the final on the last two occasions - both against Mikaela Shiffrin.
In the absence of the American, Anna Swenn Larsson took her place in the final by having conducted a, largely, flawless competition.
The Swede has started the season brilliantly and has a third and a fourth place in slalom.
