After a tiring season finale, Manchester United have started to score points. New coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen the team defeat both Tottenham and Manchester City but lost to Everton.
A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by Everton. The goalkeeper, David De Gea, misjudged the ball that hit Lindelöf in the stomach and then passed his own goal line.
A verdict that was not liked by the home team. Wild protests erupted against De Gea being disturbed in the situation and therefore misjudging the ball. However, a VAR review later, the target was approved.
Manchester super talent, 18-year-old Mason Greenwood entered the 65th minute and was able to save points for his team.
With the losing points, Tottenham took over the Europa League place.
