World Cup debutant Moa Gustafsson had scored two goals, but with only seconds left of the crucial period, the host nation acknowledged in front of a boiling hall in Neuchatel.

Sweden nevertheless rose from it and is now the world champion for the seventh consecutive year.

- We are an extremely strong team. We have 20 winning skulls who want this and there is no team that can beat us when we are so good. We do it together throughout the tournament, says Hultgren.

Åsa Karlsson made her first World Cup as the national team and she enjoyed when almost 4,000 Swiss stopped singing.

- It's absolutely wonderful. You are happy, but you still do not know how to deal with it. You are quite empty indeed. But lovely feeling when the whole arena gets quiet. I will never forget that, she says.

Why do you stand here as the winner?

- I think we've got the whole together and everyone works for each other. We are prepared for every match. We have the widest and best material as well. All credd to the business at home, we get to borrow the players for a while and we are extremely proud to take care of the players in the national team.
