Several hundred people have demonstrated on Saturday afternoon in Aranda de Duero to show their rejection of the sentence of the ' Arandina Case ', in which three former players of the local football club have been sentenced to 38 years in prison each one for a crime of sexual assault on a child under 15 years . The events for which they were convicted happened on November 24, 2017 , more than two years ago, in the house that the players shared, and were denounced by the victim's family a couple of weeks later.

The sentence is based on the statement of the minor and the psychological study to which she was subjected after the events, and the defense of the convicted accuses the court of obviating the testimony of the only witness that has been able to count, a quarter Arandina player who was in the house and has denied any sexual relationship between the minor and Raúl Calvo, Víctor Rodríguez 'Viti' and Carlos Cuadrado 'Lucho' , who at that time had 19, 22 and 24 years.

In this sense, the demonstration has taken place in the Plaza Mayor of Aranda de Duero , where relatives of the damned were found, who have made several speeches defending again the innocence of the three and showing their criticism of the "false allegations" .
