Al-Hilal Saudi Club started its participation in the Club World Cup with a precious 1-0 victory over Tunisia's Esperance today, Saturday, in the second round of the current edition of the tournament hosted by Qatar.

The first half of the match that took place at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club ended
Qataris tied after a fairly equal performance of the two teams.

In the second half, veteran French striker Pafetembe Gomez rewarded his Romanian coach Razvan Lusescu who pushed him in the 65th minute of the match, and the player scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute to lead his team well into the semi-finals.

Mohamed Kno doubled the difficulty of the match for his team in the last minutes of the match, after he got two warnings in the 83rd and 85th minutes, to be dismissed from the match.

Al Hilal qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament and will face the Brazilian Flamengo Cup champion Libertadores at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha next Tuesday.

On the other hand, Esperance will meet on the same day with the loser from the Qatari Al Sadd match and Monterrey of Mexico in the fifth-place match.
