Västerås was really cursed in the final minutes at home against Lidköping. With five minutes left of regular time, the guests had the lead with a goal when Västerås was extremely close to a receipt. Newly appointed national team keeper Jesper Thimfors was a nice save but in the ensuing situation Robin Andersson got the club rejected and the home supporters shouted on penalty. The referee was reluctant and, in Villa's next attack, Martin Karlsson extended the lead to 3-5.

Västerås in good form with three straight wins in the back obviously went ahead, but just over a minute after Karlsson's goal Johan Esplund was able to put the final score 3-6.

With the victory, Lidköping is pulling out the lead in the table.
