With three World Cup golds and three World Cup golds on the track record, Iza Rydjäll chose to end his career after the 2018 Finals.

- There were several reasons, but it was a lot of motivation that wasn't really there at the same time as I wanted to invest in my civilian career, she says.

She did not play for a whole season, but in June 2019 came the message that she had signed for Kloten-Dietlikon Jets in the Swiss league where she now plays with national teammate Alice Granstedt. In fact, it has only been about three months since the league premiere, but nevertheless Rydfjäll joined Åsa Karlsson's World Cup squad.

- I felt I needed a new ignition and got to test something new. It's really fun to play in this country. It's so nice and I really enjoy it, says Rydfjäll.

Was it the offer that made you make a comeback?

- I felt that I needed something new and that I will regret it if I do not test on this. So it absolutely was.

How is the level of flooring in Switzerland?

- It's a little upside down. It is not as good as in Sweden, but still close.

Playing elite basketball requires a lot of time and, especially on the ladies side, is not very lucrative.

- It is difficult to get everything together on the side and be able to train fully as well. But I'm glad I took this step and it's really nothing I regret, says Rydfjäll.

Sweden will play quarterfinals against Germany tonight at 19.
