The manager of the Marketing and Contracting Department at Al-Ahly Club, Egyptian Emir Tawfiq, announced today that the club signed a contract with international striker Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim "Kahraba" for a period of four and a half years, beginning in early January.
The club, the most crowned club in Egypt, said in a statement on its official website that the contract "came in a free transfer deal after Kahraba canceled his contract with the Portuguese club, Avech, by mutual consent a few days ago."
He added that «this step comes within the framework of meeting the needs identified by the technical staff to support the team’s ranks during the upcoming winter transfer period». And "Kahraba" left last June the ranks of his team, Zamalek, without the latter's approval, stressing that his contract with Al-Abyad has expired, which is denied by Zamalek officials, who filed a complaint against the player to demand that he be punished for not committing to a contract with him for three future seasons, but the player confirmed that Notarizing the contract and moving to Avish Club during the past two-year summer transfers.
