José Mourinho is very impressed with the goal of Son Heung-min Saturday against Burnley (5-0 win). The Tottenham Hotspur coach compares the Korean after an impressive solo with the Brazilian former top striker Ronaldo.
27-year-old Son received the ball just outside of his own penalty area in the 32nd minute, rushed the whole field past several opponents and shot eye to eye with goalkeeper Nick Pope cold-headed for 3-0.
"An unparalleled goal", Mourinho said to the BBC after the game. "In my time as assistant coach of FC Barcelona, Ronaldo Nazario scored a similar goal. This was also an incredible goal."
"I knew that his control would still be perfect when he came to the keeper. The keeper is good, but he managed to score ... Sonaldo. Sonaldo Nazario", the Portuguese coach compared his pupil with the now 43-year-old former player from Brazil.
Tottenham Hotspur finally beat Burnley 5-0 on Saturday. In addition to Son, Harry Kane (2), Lucas Moura and Moussa Sissoko were also accurate for the London formation.
