German star Massoud Ozil retains a different face from the well-known image of the skilled player who creates above the green rectangle with his goals and magic passes, and the Arsenal player is keen to always exist in the charity race.

Ozil came from a simple family of Turkish origins, and his mother worked in two shifts connected to the cleaning profession to ensure a livelihood, which made him know people the bitterness of deprivation and not enjoying the necessities of life.

This childhood instilled in Ozil the love of charity and the initiative to provide assistance to everyone who seeks it, according to his agent Erkut Sogot in an interview with the British newspaper Sun.

Sogut revealed a number of works that Ozil has been keen to carry out over the past years, and made it clear that the German star is taking advantage of the happy occasions to celebrate his own way.

On the occasion of his recent marriage, the player decided to sponsor the financing of surgeries for the benefit of a thousand disadvantaged children, and during his wedding day he provided meals for the 100,000 people displaced and refugees in the camps in Turkey.

He had donated more than 250,000 euros to cover the cost of surgeries for 23 children after winning the Germany World Cup 2014 team in Brazil.

The retired German star oversees the construction of a football academy in the city of Devarc, from which his parents originate in Turkey, and works with an association interested in caring for children. He also allocated 5 of the 15 seats he gets in the honorary stands of the Emirates Stadium for charity.

Ozil's agent has revealed that the player - who gets more than 350,000 euros a week with Arsenal - does not hesitate to do many charities without paying attention to the cost.

Sugot said that he had told the German star on one occasion that his charitable activities cost millions. Ozil replied, "If I don't share my money now, when will I do it? And with whom?"

We cannot be surprised by this interest in charitable work from Ozil if we know that the secret starts from his mother. The former Real Madrid star hangs on one of the walls of his apartment a letter in his mother’s handwriting in which he wrote: “Massoud, never forget that you are just a passing guest on this earth like all of us. He granted you God is a talent for playing football, but he did not give it to you to enjoy it alone, if you do not share your wealth with the people who need it, then I am not my son. "
