Already after 02.38 in the first period, Luleå took the lead by 1-0 through Petra Nieminen after a flying attack. Barely four minutes later, Linn Peterson increased to 2-0 after a pass from Josefine Persson. In the middle of the second period, Luleå's star back Jenni Hiirikoski extended the lead to 3-0 when she snuck up from her back seat.

Fourth straight victory

Luleå was not finished there. After just over five minutes into the third period, Linn Peterson got the puck in the middle of the offensive zone. With a quick wrist shot, she outscored AIK goalkeeper Meeri Räisänen and put 4-0 with her second goal of the match.
The goal was also the last of the match.

The victory was Luleå / MSSK's fourth straight and the team - which last year won the SM gold - is in fourth place in SDHL.
During the victory suite, Luleå has only let in a single goal.

The next match, however, will be much tougher when the team meets the series leader HV71 on away ground on December 20.

AIK meets SDE in a Stockholm village on December 18.
