After six weeks on the injury list, "Gabbe" was back on the ice with a message.

André Burakovsky was also back for Colorado, in his case following an injury that resulted in three games' rest.

Against Montreal, Ryan Graves set the first goal after six minutes. And just under seven minutes later, Landeskog picked up a puck at midfield, slid playfully through Montreal's defense and poked 2-0 in NHL-debuting goalkeeper Cayden Primeau's far corner.

"Can only get better"

Colorado's Pavel Francouz made many strong saves when Montreal desperately tried to equalize at the end of the game, and is relieved to have the sharp Swedes back.

- It's great that we could win without them, but we can only get better with those guys. They showed this when they came back, "Gabe" and "Burky" also played well, Czech says.

And Landeskog repays the praise.

"We know how good he is," says the Swede about Francouz, according to nhl.com.

- I don't think the rest of the league understands that, but we trust him, and we really want our goalkeepers to have it easier.

Boston Suite broken

Norwegian NHL star Mats Zuccarello picked up three points when his Minnesota beat Tampa Bay. Above all, the Norwegian accounted for the decisive 5–4 goal, which also meant one of two assists for Jonas Brodin.

Joel Eriksson Ek and Victor Rask also got their puck for Minnesota, while Victor Hedman set one of Tampa Bay's goals.

Joakim Nordström scored one of Boston's goals when the team, which fights with Washington for the lead in the NHL table, against Chicago tried to extend its eight games-long victory suite.

But after, among other things, a strong effort by Robin Lehner, back in the Chicago case after illness, it stood 3–3 at full time. And just 54 seconds into the extension, Jonathan Toews decided for Chicago.

Erik Gustafsson got an assist for the Illinois team.
